Swedish Downsizing

Sometimes you just need a hand to see what furniture fits when you are downsizing. In this project the couple were moving out of a large home into a 3 bedroom apartment with much less space but they really wanted to take as much of their furniture with them.

Downsizing can be very emotional so being able to take as much of your existing furniture with you can make the transition easier. You will be coming home to a smaller space filled with your memories. Here we took the apartment plan, measured all the existing furniture and gave them a room by room list of what would fit and where it would go.

When it came to moving it was extremely easy to give the plans to the removalists who made sure each room was set up ready to move in.
