HOTEL MEXICO

Hotel Mexico is number two in the Mexican Tequila Bar family, this time located in an old pub in the Melbourne suburb of Yarraville. The pub came with a large existing kitchen, outdoor beer garden and some furniture. Once again, we endeavoured to use as many of the existing items possible to reduce waste and continue the eclectic feel.

A brand new bar was installed and the back of house and kitchens upgraded. We also fitted out the upstairs area that was not previously in use, making a cosy new bar and seating area, perfect for private functions.

The hacienda theme continues and once again the collaboration between SBD, the builder and client turned this tired pub into an exciting new venue. It was also another great chance to illustrate a larger feature mural as a focal point of the beer garden and a map of the tequila regions of Mexico as an internal feature in the bar.
